If you see or have bighorn sheep in or around your home, please do not approach, nor try to scare them away, nor feed them. It is against the law to do so. You may be reported to the CA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife and this could result in a large fine.
The HOA is working with CVAG (Coachella Valley Association of Governments) and others regarding this issue. We are hopeful that the fence construction will commence in late 2021.

Finances

Please click here to view the current annual budget.

A Certified Public Accountant reviews the financial records annually to ensure that the Association’s accounting is in accord with generally accepted accounting principles. Please click here to view the Association’s most recent audited financial statements.

A Reserve Study Analyst reviews our community assets to assist in developing a funding plan for future repairs or replacements.  Some examples of these assets include roofs, pools, streets, and other items that require long-term repairs or replacements such as painting, irrigation control system, HOA office components and HOA owned vehicles.

Operating expenses are the day to day operational costs of the Association. Examples include insurance, legal fees, HOA staff, utilities, pool/spa maintenance and repairs, landscape maintenance, tree trimming and removal, annual color, lighting maintenance and repairs, street cleaning, and Master Association assessments.
The HOA assessment is calculated annually. The assessments are based upon the operating and reserve demands for a given year. Operating expenses are comprised of day to day maintenance of the exteriors of the units, including items such as roof maintenance, gates, landscaping, irrigation, pest control, lake maintenance, administration and insurance. Reserve expenses include repair or replacement of Association owned components that have a lifespan greater than three years, such as streets, pool and spa equipment, plaster and furniture and roof replacement. Management and the Board of Directors work closely to address the needs of the Association and prepare the annual budget in a fiscally responsible manner.
All PGA WEST homeowners pay this monthly assessment as part of their monthly residential association assessments;(It is included in your Res I HOA assessment.) Homeowners do not pay directly to the Master Association. The monthly assessment for the Master Association is determined annually by the Master Association Board.  The assessment covers the Master Association’s operating and reserve expenses.
Your monthly assessment may be paid in several different ways. You may enroll in the Association’s direct debit program, whereby your US bank account will be debited the amount of your assessment on the 8th of each month, or if the 8th falls on a weekend or holiday, the next business day. You may pay your assessment by credit card; we accept Visa or Master Card; however, there is a passthrough fee to utilize this payment method. You may pay your assessment by mailing a check or money order, along with your assessment coupon, to PO Box 51126 Los Angeles, CA 90051. You may deliver your assessment payment via mail, or you may personally visit the Association office at 54-320 Southern Hills La Quinta, CA 92253.
